Black woman-owned by singer and 'American Idol' alum Ashley Hunt, this 3,500-square-foot University City spot spotlights Black-owned wine labels alongside weekly live music, DJs, karaoke, and open mics.

Pip’s Tip Open till 1am Friday and Saturday. Black woman-owned by Ashley Hunt, and the room is big enough for a group.

Charlotte's flagship wine bar with a lush garden patio and a deep 400-bottle cellar. Sister locations in SouthPark and Plaza Midwood carry the same romantic vibe.

Upscale-but-unpretentious wine shop and bar stocking thousands of bottles, famous for pairing serious pours with truffle fries and a signature burger. String-light patio seating anchors the East Blvd strip.

Opened December 2025 by the Michelin-recognized Customshop crew, this approachable bar-and-bottle-shop pours 20-plus wines by the glass alongside baked brie, mortadella sandwiches, and pastas.
