Long Beach's oldest bar, slinging beer, pickled eggs, and the legendary 'Joe's Special' sausage sandwich since 1924. A wood-paneled, cash-friendly institution beloved by generations of regulars.

Pip’s Tip Closes at 10pm, 9pm Sunday, so it is an early one. Long Beach's oldest bar, and the pickled eggs are the order.

A dark, sticky-floored punk-rock dive and live-music landmark that's hosted everyone from garage bands to famous surprise acts (and appeared in 'True Blood'). Stiff cheap drinks, a photo booth, and pinball.

The 'World Famous' corner dive at Broadway and Redondo that opens at 6am for day-drinkers, with strong pours, a jukebox, and dim red-lit charm. A neighborhood staple where bartenders know the regulars.

A dim, cash-friendly neighborhood dive that doubles as one of the city's best small live-music rooms, hosting punk, jazz, and indie bands nightly. Cheap drinks, a pool table, and a come-as-you-are crowd.
